comic book all over the world

 In 1837, "The Adventures of Obadiah Oldbuck" was published by Rudolphe Töpffer and it is considered the earliest known comic book. In 1842, "The Adventures of Obadiah Oldbuck" became the first comic book published in the United States. "Obadiah Oldbuck" was a forty page book. Each page had several picture panels with accompanying text underneath.


the Platinum Age - is the birth of comics around 1842  these are  some of  them







Golden Age of Comic Books  it continued 1930s until the late 1940s or early 1950s.At this time America was fighting war and used the comic to give hope to citizens .This gave birth to the super heroes

In 1916, the library received depository library status.[4] In July 1928, its name was changed to National Beijing Library and was later changed to the National Library.

The National Library of Korea is located in Seoul, South Korea and was established in 1945. It houses over 6.5 million volumes, including over 844,000 foreign books and some of the National Treasures of South Korea.

It was relocated within Seoul, from Sogong-dong, Jung-gu to Namsan-dong in 1974, and again to the present location at Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, in 1988. It was transferred from the Ministry of Education to the Ministry of Culture in 1991.
